OLE distributes 699 signal vests
Yesterday (19.05), Operation Lifesaver Estonia (OLE) handed out in the head office of Estonian Railways 699 signal vests to Tallinn kindergartens. On the back of the vests is written the message ”Let’s Save Lives“.
Kiisupere, Kelmiküla, Mudila, Haraka, Vindi, Kullatera, Komeedi, Luha, Endla, Linnupesa, Virmalise, Tihase kindergartens and Pailaps day car received signal vests in the framework of OLE’s project “OLE’s signal vests to kindergartens located in the proximity of railways“.
3330 vests in total will be distributed to kindergartens during the project, which costs 250 000 Estonian kroons. The project is funded by the Estonian Foundation of Railway Culture. In the end of April more than 1000 signal vests were distributed in Ida-Viru county.
The ceremony was attended by Riivo Sinijärv, Chairman of the Management Board of the Estonian Railway Culture Foundation, Tamo Vahemets, Chairman of the Management Board of OLE, Birgit Vahemets, Project Manager, head teachers of kindergartens and children from Kelmiküla kindergarten.
