Technical Surveillance Authority Publishes Annual Report
Estonian Technical Surveillance Authority presented its annual report about developments in Estonian railway sector in 2010 to the European Railway Agency.
The report presents an overview of the most significant developments in the Estonian railway industry that took place in 2010 – implementation of the safety directive and granting of safety certificates, main trends in railway safety, development and notification activities in the field of safety, state supervision and cooperation between companies and institutions of the industry.
The report describes also the structure of the Technical Surveillance Authority and its role in developing Estonian railway sector. It also describes the changes introduced recently in applicable regulations.
