OLE drinking water with new Toyota
Since 1 June 2013 all those purchasing new cars from AS Elke Auto will find in their Toyotas a bottle of drinking water carrying OLE’s safety messages – “Let the Train Pass!” and “Let’s Save Lives”.
“Both of these messages are vitally important for our customers,” said Valdik Uski, Member of the Management Board of AS Elke Auto, and added: “The Toyota brand is often chosen by people who value highly the safety of their close ones and themselves. BY giving out water bottles we recommend the fresh car owners to pay particular attention in traffic while crossing railways and tell them that all those sitting behind a steering wheel should not consume any beverages with the alcohol content exceeding 0%.”
Tamo Vahemets, Chairman of the Management Board of OLE is especially glad for Elke Auto’s decision to participate in railway safety promotion activities. “I really hope that there will be more companies following the example of Elke Auto and we will have the opportunity to cooperate with many businesses playing an important role in ensuring traffic safety,” added Vahemets.
OLE (www.ole.ee) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2004 by the initiative of AS Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways) with the mission to increase considerably public awareness about dangers involved in railway traffic and lawful behaviour on railway, with the purpose to reduce the number of railway accidents and people killed and injured in such accidents.
